Motor/Pump makes loud grinding sound!

One evening my wife complaints the dishwasher is making a loud noise. I figure something is in the way of the spray arm. Nope, it's clear. I decide to pull out the dishwasher from under the counter. Removed power, disconnected water & drain lines. I pulled on the door while open and pulled the door out of place on one side! Ended up denting the door at the bottom because it wasn't in the right location slot. Pulled out washer and flipped it upside down. Disconnected all the wiring and rotated pump/drain lock and the complete pump/motor assembly falls into rack inside! Remove and disassemble pump and find an extra piece that doesn't show up in any drawing I have found on the web! Motor turns fairly easy without noise. I need an electrical schematic to test motor on bench.
