Detergent door will not open

Detergent door will not open to release the detergent. At the end of the cycle, detergent is in the box. Checked the bi-metal switch and it shows continuity.

Do you own this unit? Please describe repair issue you are having.

How long did you have this dishwasher for? What is the problem with it right now? What kind of diagnostics did you perform? Any earlier repairs?
