dishwasher Admiral ddb1501awb

When I start the washer, once the water fills and it starts to turn, the motor makes a loud noise like its crunching ice. I'm not sure if its the motor or if something is stuck somewhere. It doesn't make any noise when it is dispensing water, only once it begins to turn the water for washing. It is very loud and it sounds like it ready to blow up or something but then the noise can just suddenly stop also. Any comments or previous experiences with this model, feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sheri
