Not cooling the Evaporator coil inside the fridge in the center is freezing up.
I purchased it off market place. Kenmore 596.72383411 which crosses to the Whirlpool WRX988SIBM01 When I went to pick it up they told me the fridge cooled but the freezer did not. I brought it home removed the kick place and cleaned all the pet hair off of the coil and left the plate off I also checked the fan in the lower rear and it was spinning good. after about 20 hours it froze a cup of water.I wanted to test if for a while and the cup of water started thawing out in the freezer. The fan in the evaporator that is freezing is blowing I started the diagnostics and the damper door was open it got closed and now stays closed. I do not know the theory of operation to know when it should open and close.
